Based on the information I found about numerology that I mentioned in my last post I’ve found that my Life Path Number is 9. This was calculated by adding all the numbers from my date of birth together. For example, someone who was born on October 11, 1968 (10-11-1968) would also have a Life Path Number of 9. To find this you just add all of those numbers together. 1+0+1+1+1+9+6+8 = 27 and then add the remaining numbers together 2+7 = 9. This is supposed to signify your character and what kind of experiences you’ll encounter through life.
9’s are ‘Compassionate Humanitarians’ and as a 9 I’m supposed to be kind, empathetic, understanding, and compassionate. Not that I don’t consider myself kind and understanding, I just do have a tendency not to be terribly compassionate, though that may be due more to issues I find trivial. The book also makes mention of being more creative, which I definitely feel that I fall into. I love to paint and make things and I pretty much always have about three book ideas swimming in my head all at once. I have a high appreciation for all of the arts and frequently attend plays, musicals, concerts, and always visit an art museum whenever I travel.
9’s can be passionate, emotional, and intense which I am and which fits perfectly into my Sun Sign in regards to astrology. With that 9’s can be vengeful, aggressive, and unforgiving. Again, as a Scorpio this fits perfectly with my faults. However, 9’s also are giving and enjoy giving gifts, which I also do. In regards to career choices, Michelle Buchanan suggests that 9’s make excellent teachers, counselors, and therapists, as well as politicians, lawyers, and environmentalists. She lists many other careers that honestly I’ve given most at least a passing thought to at one point or another. The career I did choose isn’t listed, but it still fits the description of helping others, just in a different way.
